Why Midwest Speed?
We feel there are several critical areas that are critical to running a successful club program. We want to offer families the best possible experience. We have an incredible staff of coaches that care deeply about each player inside of the program as a player but more importantly as a person. We are honest and have strong relationships with other clubs and programs.
Midwest Speed Plays More Games
Most Midwest Speed teams played between 80-100 games in the 2021-2022 Season. We also try to play in tournaments that play longer games giving our players more playing time. This coupled with our extensive training program helps our players reach that next level.
Off-Season Training Program
If you really want to jump in with both feet and put time into your game, Midwest Speed offers training 6 days a week in 6-8 locations around the Twin Cities Metro Area during our winter training program. Some locations include: Maple Grove, Rosemount, Coon Rapids, Edina, North St. Paul and Elk River. We also do several multi-team practices during the fall and summer at various locations. Midwest Speed brings in some of the best trainers in the country to help with our off-season program.
Top Notch Coaches
Midwest Speed has some of the best High School Coaches and some fantastic College Coaches working in our program. These coaches all buy into the “TEAM COACHING APPROACH”. Our coaches work together and take pride in teaching players from all teams. We make sure that we have each of these coaches focusing on teaching the things that they do best.
College Exposure
Midwest Speed has helped over 25 players reach D1 Programs and over 35 players reach D2 programs. We will work extremely hard to put players in position to have as many options as possible. We will do everything we can to enhance their chances of making it to the next level. Playing in the most prestigious tournaments in the country helps get Midwest Speed players in front of many of the top schools in the country. Midwest Speed has many Coaches and Directors that have spent a lot of time at the NFCA Conventions, College Showcase Tournaments and even running our own tournaments. These things have really helped us get to know a lot of coaches across the country.
Challenging Players
Midwest Speed has an incredible track record playing in Minnesota over the last 7 years of our existence. However, our measuring stick is against the Best Programs in the country and competing in the Best Tournaments in the country. If your kid doesn’t FAIL playing with Midwest Speed then we aren’t doing our jobs. We want to challenge your daughter against the best competition they are prepared to play against. They won’t ALWAYS be successful and that’s ok. We will teach them to pick themselves back up and keep trying to be the best versions of themselves. We feel this is the way to truly make it to the next level as a player.
Achieving Accolades
15 Midwest Speed players received MFCA All-State Honors. We were the only Minnesota Program to have two teams in the Alliance National Championships at any age level.
MIDWEST SPEED FAMILY
We are a family and the last year has really strengthened our bond between teams and coaches. We work together and support each other to make everyone better.
