We have had 53 players commit to D1, D2, D3 and NAIA schools You will be playing with hard working athletes that have drive to become the best. Those players push our program to be highly competitive and push any player to improve.

Midwest Speed prides itself on continuing education for our coaches via NFCA (National Fastpitch Coaches Association). Our coaches learn from the top coaches in the nation bringing that knowledge and experience with them in teaching your daughter the very latest techniques to improve her game.

We are super excited to announce that Midwest Speed and GameFace training are working together to build the top softball program and training facility in the country.

Athletes will be evaluated from one of our trainers after they accept a roster spot. The athletes will be evaluated in these area; flexibility, range of motion, strength, running form, explosiveness while looking for old or new injuries. GameFace will then talk with each individual athlete on what areas they will work on this fall and come up with a plan. The trainers will also test in the middle of off-season training to see progress and adjust programs accordingly.

GameFace will implement a dynamic warm up and post game stretching sessions to help prevent injury and help with post game recovery. Athletes will have classroom tome that will discuss topics like nutrition, balancing school with sports, and have Q and A with current college athletes.

Athletes will attend group performance training twice a week throughout the winter season and will have sessions throughout the summer with our performance coaches to maintain performance.

Trainers will travel to some tournaments to help with teams. All athletes will follow an out of town meal plan that will ensure our athletes perform at their highest level.

Midwest Speed athletes should plan to train all year. We want our athletes to perform at their best throughout the season. During the fall, there will be 1-3 practices weekly. We believe the athletes can make the most improvement during the off-season.

Therefore, there will be up to 6 practices a week to choose from with different emphasis; hitting, fielding, pitching, catching, slapping, workouts and performance training. This also accommodates athletes other sports schedules.

Summer will include 2-3 practices a week with a focus on tournament play.
Midwest Speed takes the college search and player improvement very seriously.

We have partnered with SportsRecruits so every player can help get ahead in the recruiting process. We have college coaching contacts in the Midwest and all over the country therefore we work hard to make sure our players have a strong fundamental base and a great knowledge of the game.
